The Hoshizaki FM-120KE-50-HCN has been developed for professional businesses that require large volumes of high-quality nugget ice while prioritising reliability, hygiene and energy efficiency. With a production capacity of up to 110 kg of nugget ice per 24 hours and an integrated storage bin with a capacity of 65 kg, the unit is ideal for bars, restaurants, hotels, catering operations, retail environments and many other professional applications.

Nugget ice is known for its compact structure, rapid cooling performance and pleasant texture. The small ice nuggets cool beverages quickly while providing controlled dilution. This makes nugget ice particularly suitable for cocktails, soft drinks, smoothies and other chilled beverages. At the heart of the FM series is Hoshizaki’s proven auger system. All supplied water is converted into ice, resulting in a highly efficient production process. The virtually closed water circuit protects the ice-making process from external influences and supports consistently high hygiene standards. Automatic rinse cycles regularly drain and refill the water reservoir with fresh water, helping maintain excellent ice quality while reducing limescale and mineral deposits.

The electronic control system continuously monitors all production processes and automatically adapts ice production to changing operating conditions. An integrated display simplifies machine monitoring and supports preventive maintenance in professional environments.

The housing and auger are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel and designed for continuous daily operation. The robust construction, easily accessible components and washable air filter simplify cleaning and maintenance while supporting a long service life.

The air-cooled refrigeration system operates efficiently and reliably. Natural refrigerant R290 provides an environmentally responsible alternative to conventional refrigerants while maintaining excellent performance. The plug-and-play design allows for fast installation and straightforward day-to-day operation.

The scope of delivery includes an installation kit and ice scoop. Optional water filtration systems are available to further optimise water quality and support long-term equipment performance.
