The Hoshizaki IM-240XPE series features a modular and stackable design, developed for professional applications with growing or fluctuating ice demand. Unlike self-contained units, this series is supplied without an integrated storage bin, allowing it to be selected and combined separately for maximum flexibility. This enables tailored solutions for a wide range of operational requirements.
The modular construction allows multiple units to be stacked, making it easy to expand production capacity as needed. This system is particularly suitable for businesses that want to scale their ice production or adapt to changing demand over time.
The production of ice cubes relies on the proven closed cell system: each cube is formed individually using fresh water, while excess water is efficiently drained away. Automatic rinse cycles reduce mineral build-up and ensure clear, compact, and neutral-tasting ice.
A closed water circuit protects the entire production process from contamination and ensures consistently high ice quality. A magnetic DC water pump without direct coupling provides precise water control while increasing operational reliability and system longevity.
The units are equipped with an electronic control system that continuously monitors the production process and ensures stable performance even under varying conditions. Integrated cleaning and maintenance functions support efficient daily operation.
The air-cooled refrigeration system enables energy-efficient performance while maintaining reliable ice production. The units use the natural refrigerant R290. Optional accessories such as water filtration systems or hygiene solutions can be added. The unit is supplied with an installation kit and an ice scoop.
