The Hoshizaki IM-65WPE series has been developed for businesses that want to benefit from the advantages of water-cooled refrigeration technology even when ice demand is high. With increased production capacity, an integrated storage bin and a plug-and-play design, these units are ideal for restaurants, hotel bars, catering operations, commercial kitchens and other professional environments requiring a continuous supply of ice.

The integrated storage bin provides a constant reserve of ice and supports smooth operation even during busy service periods. At the same time, the compact dimensions allow flexible integration into a wide variety of workspaces.

For ice production, Hoshizaki uses its proven Closed Cell system. Each ice cell is individually filled with fresh water while excess water is carefully discharged. This process helps reduce mineral build-up and enables the production of clear, compact and slow-melting ice cubes with consistently high quality.

Automatic rinse cycles regularly clean the water system and help minimise limescale and mineral deposits. The closed water circuit also protects the entire production process from external contamination and supports consistently high hygiene standards.

The electronic control system continuously monitors all production processes and ensures stable results under varying operating conditions. This is complemented by a magnetic DC water pump without direct coupling, which provides precise water management and contributes to reliable operation.

The robust stainless steel construction has been designed for intensive professional use. Removable components, replaceable magnetic door gaskets and easily accessible maintenance areas simplify cleaning and servicing.

The water-cooled refrigeration system ensures reliable ice production even in environments with high ambient temperatures or limited airflow. Natural refrigerant R290 is used to combine energy-efficient operation with environmentally responsible refrigeration technology. An optional UV-C sanitisation system and integrated drain pump can be added to further enhance hygiene and installation flexibility.

The scope of delivery includes an installation kit, adjustable legs and an ice scoop. Optional water filtration systems, scoop holders and additional accessories are available.

For water-cooled units, the condenser circuit should be connected to a closed-loop cooling system. Connecting such equipment directly to the mains water supply may not comply with local water authority regulations.
