The Hoshizaki IM-130APE-U series ice machines combine high-performance cube ice production with advanced hygiene features for professional use. Designed for gastronomy, hospitality, and catering environments, they ensure a reliable ice supply while meeting increased standards for cleanliness and food safety.
As modular systems, the units are operated without an integrated storage bin and can be combined with various ice storage bins. This allows the ice production capacity to be precisely adapted to individual requirements and available space.
The ice production is based on a closed water circuit system: each cycle uses fresh water, while excess water is discharged. This results in clear, solid, and taste-neutral ice cubes with consistently high quality.
In addition, the U series features an integrated UV hygiene function. This continuously disinfects water-carrying components and supports high hygiene standards in daily operation – particularly in sensitive environments.
The electronic control system ensures stable operation, supported by automatic rinse cycles and easy access to maintenance components. This reduces cleaning effort and increases operational reliability.
Technically, the units rely on energy-efficient components such as a variable-speed water pump and the natural refrigerant R290. The air-cooled design ensures reliable continuous operation with efficient energy use.
The unit is supplied with an ice scoop, an installation kit, and an ice chute for transferring ice into the storage bin. This ensures quick and straightforward integration into existing systems. Optional accessories such as water filtration systems or additional hygiene solutions are available.
This version produces standard cube ice (approx. 28 x 28 x 32 mm) with an output of up to approx. 125 kg per 24 hours – ideal for operations with consistently high ice demand.
