The Hoshizaki IM-240AWPE-U series combines water-cooled refrigeration technology with integrated UV-C hygiene functionality and is designed for professional environments where both high performance and strict hygiene standards are required. The water-cooled system ensures reliable operation even in high ambient temperatures or locations with limited air circulation.

As modular ice machines, the units are supplied without an integrated storage bin and are designed to be combined with separate ice storage bins, which must be selected and installed according to specific requirements. This concept allows flexible adaptation to different applications and capacity needs.

Ice is produced using the proven closed cell system: each ice cube is formed individually using fresh water, while excess water is efficiently drained away. Automatic rinse cycles reduce mineral build-up and ensure clear, compact, and neutral-tasting ice cubes.

A closed water circuit protects the production process from contamination and supports consistently high ice quality. At the same time, a magnetic DC water pump with variable speed ensures efficient water flow and reliable operation.

The integrated UV-C hygiene function provides continuous disinfection of water-carrying components and circulating water, supporting enhanced hygiene throughout the production process.

The electronic control system continuously monitors the production process and ensures stable performance even under changing conditions. Integrated cleaning and maintenance functions simplify daily operation.

The water-cooled refrigeration system ensures consistent output independent of ambient temperature and allows reliable ice production even in demanding installation environments. The units use the natural refrigerant R290 and are designed for energy-efficient operation. The unit is supplied with an ice chute, installation kit, and ice scoop, and is compatible with a range of Hoshizaki storage bins that must be ordered and installed separately.

Note: For water-cooled units, the condenser circuit should be connected to a closed-loop system. Connecting such equipment directly to the mains water supply may violate local water authority regulations.
