The Hoshizaki IM-240XPE-U series combines a modular, stackable design with integrated UV-C hygiene technology and is developed for professional applications with increasing demands for hygiene, flexibility, and production capacity. The units are supplied without an integrated storage bin, allowing compatible bins to be selected and combined individually.
Thanks to the modular construction, multiple units can be stacked in a space-saving configuration and adapted flexibly to changing ice requirements. The system is particularly suitable for businesses with growing production needs or varying operational demands.
The proven closed cell system ensures precise and hygienic ice production: each ice cube is formed individually using fresh water, while excess water is carefully drained away. Automatic rinse cycles reduce mineral build-up and support the production of clear, compact, and neutral-tasting ice cubes.
A closed water circuit reliably protects the entire production process from contamination and guarantees consistently high ice quality. At the same time, the magnetic DC water pump without direct coupling ensures efficient water circulation and increases machine longevity.
The integrated UV-C hygiene function supports the continuous disinfection of water-carrying components and circulating water, enhancing hygiene safety throughout the entire production process. In addition, the units feature automatic cleaning functions and easily accessible maintenance components.
The electronic control system continuously monitors all production processes and ensures stable performance even under changing conditions. The air-cooled refrigeration technology enables energy-efficient operation while maintaining reliable ice production.
The units use the natural refrigerant R290 and are designed for combination with various Hoshizaki storage bins. The unit is supplied with an installation kit, a support bracket, and an ice scoop.
This version produces standard ice cubes (approx. 28 x 28 x 32 mm) with an output of up to approx. 210 kg per 24 hours – ideal for businesses with consistently high ice demand and continuous service.
