The Riesling glass from the 'Performance' series by Riedel is a grape varietal specific wine glass and was designed for Riesling wines. The elongated shape of the chalice is said to balance out the sweet and sour nuances in this white wine.
In addition, the glass is decorated by a subtle wave pattern towards the rim. This promises not only an appealing optical effect, but also increases the inner surface of the glass. Due to manufacturer Riedel, this has an impressive impact on the enjoyment of the wine.
The slim stem makes holding the Riesling glass an ease, while the wide base gives it the necessary stability.
