Squeeze Bottle

Squeeze bottles are a hybrid of storage and dispensing. The body of these bottles, which are usually made of polyethylene and are available in various sizes, can be squeezed to push the contents out through the spout of the unscrewable lid. Depending on the viscosity (= thick liquid) of the contents and the design of the spout (large or small opening), it is also possible to dose with pinpoint accuracy, which can be used for decorative purposes.

Squeeze bottles are a common form of packaging, especially in the food industry, and are available in various shapes and textures. Due to their many practical properties (resistant, hygienic, reusable), they are also used in the catering industry as storage containers and dosing aids for viscous ingredients (e.g. in probably the most prominent variant, as mayo and ketchup bottles). The staff of bars around the globe have therefore also discovered them for themselves; e.g. as containers and dosing aids for homemade fruit or dessert sauces as well as syrup and more.
