This wine glass from the series 'Opera' by RCR features an opulent design. The thick glass is present in the stem as well as the chalice and is adorned by a concise relief pattern. This and the pillar-like stem make the glass what it conveys: a true wine goblet. The grooves on the outside of the goblet contribute to the angular look of this glass and lead up to the drinking rim, which is not circular, but twelve-sided. The overall very pompous wine glass has a round and pleasantly narrow transition from the stem to the goblet, on which the glass can be held in the hand comfortably.
This magnificent specimen of a wine glass is part of the luxurious collection 'Opera' by the manufacturer RCR. It virtually seduces with its extravagant cut structure and an elegant silhouette. The structural design covers the entire exterior of the twelve-edged drinking goblet and is composed of many small elliptical notches. Together, they create an imposing pattern that resembles the multiplicity of a chandelier and shines with comparable magnificence. The transition between the drinking goblet and the hexagonal glass stem is contrastingly narrow, so that the heavy wine glass can be held comfortably at this point. The stem then curves outwards to taper again and finally form the smooth glass base.
