The Hoshizaki IM-45WPE-E series combines water-cooled refrigeration technology with professional cube ice production and advanced hygiene and installation features. The units come equipped as standard with UV-C sanitisation and an integrated drain pump, making them ideal for demanding hospitality environments, hotels, bars and other applications requiring a reliable supply of high-quality ice.

Thanks to the plug-and-play design and integrated storage bin, the units can be installed quickly and incorporated into a wide range of working environments. Their compact footprint allows installation even where available space is limited, while the storage bin ensures that ice is readily available throughout daily operations.

For ice production, Hoshizaki uses its proven Closed Cell system. Each ice cell is individually filled with fresh water while excess water is automatically discharged. This process supports the production of clear, compact and slow-melting ice cubes while reducing mineral build-up. Automatic rinse cycles further help maintain consistently high ice quality.

The integrated UV-C hygiene function supports the sanitisation of both water and air within the production area. Combined with the closed water circuit, it creates a highly hygienic production process and helps protect the entire ice-making cycle from external contamination.

The factory-installed drain pump significantly expands installation possibilities and simplifies operation in locations with challenging drainage conditions or longer distances to wastewater connections. This makes the series particularly suitable for flexible installation concepts and demanding layouts.

A magnetic DC water pump without direct coupling minimises leakage risks while improving operational reliability. At the same time, the electronic control system continuously monitors all production processes and ensures stable output under varying operating conditions.

The robust stainless steel construction has been designed for continuous professional use. Removable components and easily accessible service areas simplify cleaning, maintenance and routine servicing.

The water-cooled refrigeration system ensures reliable ice production even in environments with high ambient temperatures or restricted airflow. The units use natural refrigerant R290 and combine dependable performance with energy-efficient operation.

For water-cooled units, the condenser circuit should be connected to a closed-loop cooling system. Connecting such equipment directly to the mains water supply may not comply with local water authority regulations.
