The Hoshizaki IM-45PE-U series combines professional cube ice production with a factory-integrated UV-C hygiene function. The units have been developed for applications where consistently high ice quality must be combined with enhanced hygiene and product safety standards. Thanks to the plug-and-play design and integrated storage bin, the models are ideal for bars, restaurants, hotels, cafés and other professional environments.

The compact dimensions allow flexible installation even where space is limited. The integrated storage bin ensures that ice is always readily available and supports efficient workflows throughout daily operations.

For ice production, Hoshizaki uses its proven Closed Cell system. Each ice cell is individually filled with fresh water while excess water is automatically discharged. This process produces clear, compact and slow-melting ice cubes with consistently high quality. Automatic rinse cycles further help reduce mineral build-up and maintain ice purity over time.

The integrated UV-C hygiene function supports sanitisation within the production area and complements the closed water circuit, which protects the ice-making process from external contamination. This makes the series particularly suitable for businesses with demanding hygiene requirements.

The electronic control system continuously monitors all production processes and ensures stable performance under changing operating conditions. At the same time, the magnetic DC water pump without direct coupling provides precise water management and reduces the risk of leakage, helping to increase reliability and service life.

The robust stainless steel construction has been designed for continuous professional use. Removable air filters, replaceable magnetic door gaskets and easily accessible maintenance components simplify cleaning and servicing.

The air-cooled refrigeration system operates efficiently and reliably even under heavy workloads. The units use natural refrigerant R290, supporting energy-efficient operation and improved environmental performance. An internal drain pump can be added as an optional upgrade to provide greater installation flexibility.

The scope of delivery includes an installation kit, adjustable legs and an ice scoop. Optional water filtration systems, scoop holders and additional accessories are also available.
