The Hoshizaki IM-65WPE-U series combines the advantages of water-cooled refrigeration technology with a factory-integrated UV-C hygiene function and has been developed for professional businesses that demand exceptional ice quality, hygiene and operational reliability. Its powerful ice production capacity ensures a reliable supply of ice even during periods of peak demand. The integrated storage bin keeps sufficient ice reserves readily available and supports efficient workflows throughout service hours.

For ice production, Hoshizaki uses its proven Closed Cell system. Each ice cell is individually filled with fresh water while excess water is carefully discharged. This process produces clear, compact and slow-melting ice cubes with consistently high quality. Automatic rinse cycles further support water hygiene and help minimise limescale and mineral deposits.

The integrated UV-C hygiene function supports sanitisation within the production area and complements the closed water circuit, which protects the entire ice-making process from external contamination. This combination helps maintain consistently high hygiene and quality standards.

The electronic control system continuously monitors all production processes and ensures stable performance under changing operating conditions. At the same time, the magnetic DC water pump without direct coupling provides precise water management, minimises leakage risks and supports long-term operational reliability.

The robust stainless steel construction has been designed for intensive professional use. Removable components, replaceable magnetic door gaskets and easily accessible maintenance areas simplify cleaning and servicing.

The water-cooled refrigeration system ensures reliable ice production even in environments with high ambient temperatures or limited airflow. Natural refrigerant R290 combines high energy efficiency with environmentally responsible operation. An integrated drain pump can be added as an optional upgrade to further expand installation flexibility.

The scope of delivery includes an installation kit, adjustable legs and an ice scoop. Optional water filtration systems, scoop holders and additional accessories are available.

For water-cooled units, the condenser circuit should be connected to a closed-loop cooling system. Connecting such equipment directly to the mains water supply may not comply with local water authority regulations.
