This qualitative ice cube mold by Lurch helps you prepare 30 ice cubes in the format of 3x3x3cm at a time. It is made of particularly high-quality platinum silicone – a material not only used for gastronomic purposes, but also first choice for medical applications. Platinum silicone is food-safe, has a long lifespan and doesn’t yellow.
The lid is attached to the silicone mold in several places with a kind of silicone press stud. This means it cannot slip at any time. While the lid is milky-transparent, the mold itself is made of blue silicone. The chambers have filling lines on the inside that should not be exceeded when filling the mold. Due to the closed design, the ice cubes freeze more evenly and turn out especially clear. A particularly practical feature is that the ice formers with lids can also be stacked on top of each other.
