What distinguishes this cocktail stirrer from conventional models and bar spoons are its double-teardrop ends. They can be used to squeeze out fruits and herbs inside the drink or mixing glass. Due to their identical stature and weight, they perfectly balance the 30cm long rod, which is a great advantage for the actual stirring process. Once set in motion, the opposing teardrop weights ensure that the stirring rod, held between two fingers, swings evenly in a circle. Thus, a minimal amount of power and motion is required for maximum of consistent stirring. Between the two teardrop tampers the rod is twisted over a length of 22cm to form a 3mm thick spiral. So it can be held well between the fingers and consequently be moved at high speed.

Old Fashioned recipe:
60ml whiskey
5ml sugar syrup
3 dashes of Angostura bitters
Orange zest
First, put ice in a mixing glass and pour whiskey, syrup and Angostura bitters into it. Then, all ingredients should be stirred for at least 1 minute using the Double Teardrop Stirrer before the cocktail can be strained into a tumbler over fresh ice. Last but not least, the orange zest is used for spritzing and garnishing.
