The Hoshizaki IM-45WPE-U series combines water-cooled refrigeration technology with professional cube ice production and a factory-integrated UV-C hygiene function. The units have been developed for businesses that require consistently high ice quality while placing particular emphasis on hygiene and reliable operating conditions. Thanks to the plug-and-play design and integrated storage bin, the models are ideal for bars, restaurants, hotels and other professional applications.

The compact dimensions allow flexible integration into a wide range of working environments. The integrated storage bin ensures that ice is always readily available and provides sufficient reserve capacity even during peak operating periods.

For ice production, Hoshizaki uses its proven Closed Cell system. Each ice cell is individually filled with fresh water while excess water is automatically discharged. This process helps reduce mineral build-up and supports the production of clear, compact and slow-melting ice cubes with consistently high quality.

The integrated UV-C hygiene function additionally supports the sanitisation of water and air within the production area. Combined with the closed water circuit, it creates a controlled production process that helps minimise external contamination while maintaining consistently high ice quality.

Automatic rinse cycles regularly clean the water system and help reduce residue and limescale deposits. At the same time, the electronic control system continuously monitors all production processes and ensures stable operating conditions even when demand fluctuates.

A magnetic DC water pump without direct coupling improves operational reliability and reduces the risk of leakage. The robust stainless steel construction has been specifically developed for continuous professional use and supports easy cleaning as well as long-term durability.

The water-cooled refrigeration system ensures reliable ice production even in demanding environments or locations with limited airflow. The units use natural refrigerant R290 and combine dependable performance with energy-efficient operation. An internal drain pump can be added as an optional upgrade to provide greater installation flexibility.

The scope of delivery includes an installation kit, adjustable legs and an ice scoop. Optional water filtration systems and additional accessories are also available.

For water-cooled units, the condenser circuit should be connected to a closed-loop cooling system. Connecting such equipment directly to the mains water supply may not comply with local water authority regulations.
