Thetwo ends are slightly curved inwards and thus you can smoothly take one ice cubeand hygienically transport it into one glass or cocktail shaker. These ice tongs complete the modern industry design serie designed for Alessi.After this staving success of the shaker "870", Anselmo Vitale und Mazzeri Carlo designed a complete range for hotels. Parts of this serie the shaker, the ice bucket and the ice tongs designed by Mazzeri Carlo and Vitale Anselmo were shown on anItalien industrial exhibition in 1957. The latter started increasingly to concentrate on house and industry building. He has been designed and built the Alessi factory in Omegna from 1960 to 1971. Since 1973 Mazzeri Carlo has been concentrating on restoration, purpose architecture and city planning.
