They thought the fruit looked like the hard dry fruit of the pine tree, so they called it "Pine". The Britons put apple together with pine and the actual fruits´ name was born.The pineapple fruit is usable for garnishing, like the pulp or the green leaves to make your cocktail more appealing.But when it comes to pure pineapple flavor, Monin Pineapple is the easiest option to go with.

40ml light rum
30ml cranberry juice
Pour all ingredients in a shaker filled withice cubes. Shake vigorously. Pour into a cocktail glass.
