Labdanum is a resin which gets extracted from the Cistus Ladaniferus shrub in Spain for Monin Labdanum Paragon Cordial. It has been used in the making of perfumes, lucky charms and even for medicinal purposes across various cultures, going back as far as the Ancient Egyptians. Labdanum aromas are rich and warm and include amber, camphor, resin and leather, featuring sweet and smokey as well as licorice notes. For the Labdanum Monin Paragon Cordial, the aromas are – among other techniques – dissolved by steam distillation to later unfold again in the liquid cordial!

Ingredients: beet sugar, water, acids: gluconic acid, citric acid, lactic acid, natural labdanum flavor.
